I am a writer, editor, and proofreader. I am currently (July 2025) a pharmaceutical proofreader, but have been a proofreader in marketing, newspapers, and various freelance jobs.
I have also been (each for a year or more) a city bus driver, short order cook on a ferry, hospital pharmacy tech, optometric tech, accounting clerk, logistics manager, emergency room “ambassador” (intake router and dealing with fraught relatives), adjunct English professor, book indexer, book editorial assistant, and worked in various “paper hat” jobs.
It’s taken me a long time to get where I am now, but enough about that. Let’s focus on the present. I am at a point where I can make publishing a focus; I’ve been writing for decades but only recently got to the point where I have decided to make it a life focus. So, hooray for me.
